From idea to reality
The idea for Meat The Balls was born when Robert Kuiper shared his vision with his son Koen and son-in-law Rob: to reinvent the classic meatball sandwich with a new, modern feel. Despite the wide range of eateries in Amsterdam, Robert realised that a truly exceptional sandwich with a Dutch meatball had yet to be discovered. Inspired by this, Robert, Koen and Rob decided to develop a unique concept: fresh meatballs with an innovative twist, from the classic Dutch sandwiches to more exotic options. In April 2024, the big day arrived: Koen and Rob opened the welcoming doors of Meat The Balls. The response from guests was very positive with many calling their creations 'next-level meatball sandwiches'.
